We are a 31 bed rooms hotel and a very busy restaurant, 40 staff, including reception, house keeping, kitchen, restaurant, maintenance, and accounts, fully computerized, very efficient, and customs centered operation.
The ideal candidate should ideally be an existing restaurant General Manager or an ambitious confident assistant from a high volume restaurant background with hotel experience. Demonstrate-ably hands on with a flair for relationship building, you will have the ability to manage supervisors, co-ordinate with the chef and have passion for getting stuck in and running busy, well controlled shifts, with responsibility for motivating and developing the team. We are looking for a person with a charismatic personality, with the ability to lead and inspire the team as well as warm and welcoming to guests. You will be required to maintain excellent standards in service, be computer literate with the ability to confirm and oversee larger bookings and functions and also manage and manipulate the booking system to maximize seating capacity.
You will also be responsible for the hotel in the General Manager’s absence with all heads of departments reporting to you.
