Hello potential housemate!

I'm Edd. I moved to Sheffield around 4 months ago and have been living in a 1 bed apartment ever since. Not only is this too expensive it's also pretty antisocial, so I'm looking to find some interesting and fun people to move in with. My contract runs out in early January and I thought I would get a headstart and put an ad out to see if anyone will be looking for a new housemate around that time.

About me, well I'm currently working as an assistant manager at the Sheaf View pub in Heeley (which is incidentally an excellent pub) and would like to find a place to live fairly close to that. I'm really enjoying getting to know Sheffield, but would like to broaden my circle of friends as at the moment I only tend to hang out with people I've met through work, which rather limits my social life. I prefer pubs to clubs, comedy to drama and oranges to apples and my favourite skittle is the green flavour. I've never knowingly turned down a cup of tea, a beer or a glass of wine. At this stage I should probably warn you that I cook a lot - possibly too much, so if you don't like delicious food you probably wouldn't want to live with me.

And what I'm looking for...well a double room in a friendly house with people in it who enjoy the occasional drink and don't mind the fact that I keep somewhat odd hours (the perils of pub work). I like animals so pets would be a plus, though I don't have the time to look after one myself. Essentially though the important thing is the people living in the house and whether we will get on or not.
