The Children's Hospital, Sheffield is taking part in this year's 'Big Draw' (www.campaignfordrawing.org) during October 2009. We are looking for artists to run projects based on the theme of 'A Day in the Life of...', encouraging patients to explore their hospital environment - showing what they admire or wish to change with drawings, paintings or models.

Artists must have previous experience of working with children and have a recent CRB check. Workshops will either take place in small groups or with individuals by the bedside and can be one off sessions or spread over the whole month.

Applications should include a CV, a brief overview of your ideas for the project, cost and availability. Workshops are funded by The Children's Hospital Charity and as such we welcome artists who wish to volunteer their time for free or at a reduced rate in return for gaining valuable experience of working in the healthcare environment.

Deadline for application is Friday 28th August 2009
