The Resourcing Group is a UK Based specialist recruitment agency dedicated to serving the housing sector.

Due to our increasing reputation in the public sector, we urgently require a female Support Worker to work on a permanent part time basis for our client in the Chesterfield area. The successful candidate will be expected to work 29 hours per week on a shift rota. This rota works over 7 days rota system, which will include sleep-ins for which an additional payment is made.

Your main purpose in this role will be to provide holistic personal care and valued support to individuals with physical disabilities Through your duties you will be enabling service users to live independently in the community.

The successful candidate will provide assistance with personal care and health requirements. You will provide support in meeting social, leisure and holiday needs. You will also provide domestic support such as shopping and cooking.

To be successful in gaining this position It is essential that you possess good customer communication skills, a understanding of the needs of the client group and the ability to work flexibly as a team member. It is also essential that you have the ability to support service users with mobility needs. You will also have experience of providing advice and assistance to develop individual’s life skills and daily routines
