We've got a spare room to rent in a lovely two-floored flat. The building is just 10 minutes walk from the city center and there is a tram stop just downstairs. There is also a little shop at the bottom of the building.
The flat comprises three bedrooms, a good sized kitchen, a bathroom, a toilet, a lounge and a balcony. The whole flat is fully furnished and has got central heating, a landline and wireless broadband. The room has a single bed (space for a double), a great desk and a large cupboard. The window overlooks the whole of town from the cathedral across Kelham Island and as far as the stadium, and the view is spectacular in the evenings.
The flat would be shared with a Spanish secondary teacher and an indonesian chef, and would suit a student or a young professional. We're pretty chilled out and the flat is quiet as we both work a lot. We don't smoke but don't mind if you do. Council taxes are included in the rent but electricity, gas and phone are extra (not much).
