Senior CAD Technician - Structural

Role
My client requires an experience CAD technician working in the structural engineering field to add to their team and expertise in the Sheffield Office.
Your duties include the production of AutoCAD structural drawings and details in all common materials; steelwork, reinforced concrete, timber and masonry.

Skills:
oAutocad

Qualifications:

oHNC / HND or equivalent in Civil/Structural Engineering
Personal Qualities:
oHappy to work in an office as a member of a team, and able to communicate well with colleagues, clients and other professionals.
oExperience of dealing with clients or contractors and their queries would be an advantage.

Experience:

oNeeds to be competent in AutoCAD, with experience of production of structural engineering drawings and details, and well developed IT skills.
oExperience in structural steelwork is essential and in reinforced concrete would be an advantage.
oAdditional experience which would be of use is the drawing and detailing of roads and drainage associated with Civil Engineering projects.
