A Unique opportunity has presented its self with one of our established clients based in the South Yorkshire area. Our Client a global organisation are looking to recruit an additional member to join their design department.



Working on a project to project basis and dealing with bespoke projects throughout the global, you will be integrated into the team to manage the technicians draughts, issuing amendments where needed and signing off work to be used for full scale fabrication and manufacture.



Typical assignments include:from layouts or sketches, are to assess complete sets of drawings including cross-sectional and subassembly drawings, from information supplied by the design and technical teams.

Dimensions, tolerances, fits, fabrication techniques, and standard parts to use in manufacturing the products must be correctly identified and checked against specifications, conflicting details in design must be rectified and submitted.



The key aspect to the role is efficiency and eradicate errors in work loads.











A good working knowledge and recent experience of AutoCAD 2D is essential for this role.

Experience of AutoCad 3D or Isometric detailing is encouraged.

Experience of CAD Drawings and Specifications

An engineering background is preferred with varied experience in Mechanical, Civils or Structural as is the nature of the organisations projects.

The successful candidate will be expected to be able to follow instructions and work under the supervision of management on a number of concurrent projects.
