Job details: Project Engineer
My client is a leading international designer and manufacturer of industrial conveying systems and technology with unrivalled expertise and over 100 years in this market. This successful company is now looking to expand their team and is looking for a self- motivated mechanical engineer with experience in conveyor systems. You will be aiming to progress your career in the long-term with this company as our client is looking for its future leaders.
 
The Role:
 

- Working alongside a project manager on large projects and managing your own smaller projects.
- Responsible for the management from award through to completion of all technical aspects of a project.
- Preparation of conceptual design and system layout drawings.  
About You: The ideal candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:
 

- Qualified to at least HNC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Have experience in AutoCAD, 2000LT is an advantage
- Have a focused approach and meticulous attention to detail
- The ability to manage changing priorities within short time scales and the ability for multi tasking on concurrent projects.
- Preparation of conceptual design and system layout drawings
- IT literate using programmes such as Microsoft Excel, Access and Word.
- Excellent communications skills and team player
- Ability to work well under pressure
