Our clients is currently seeking for a spirited and hard working fully qualified social worker to join and improve their Children’s disability department.

You will be responsible for carrying out self centred care plans developed by the team around you, carrying out initial and core assessments using the appropriate assessment framework. Help in the detailed planning of care packages for individuals and for the co ordination, monitoring and review of care for customers receiving social care services

Applicant’s duties will include visiting customers within the local borough, commit to the training and development programme of its entire staff including some post qualifying training.

• DipSW
• CQSW
• CSS
• Masters in Social Work
• BA Honours in Social Work

Be a registered or registering member with the GSCC (General Social Care Council). Hold at least 2 years valid experience within a field dealing with Children and their Families.

Have the ability to apply for an enhanced CRD check

This is initially a 8 Month contract position which is available to start straight away, but there is possibility for extension and even permanence depending on progress of the employee. The pay rate has been set at £22.00 per hour, not including the various expenses.
