Teach me a little cantonese for my english?

Hi!
My girlfriend has gone home to Malaysia to visit her family for a month and I would love to suprise her by speaking a little cantonese when she returns.
I dont expect to be able to hold a conversation or anything, it would just be nice to be able to tell her how much I've missed her in her own language.

I can offer guidance in English. I consider myself a pretty good speaker and writer and I'm very patient.
