Automotive Motor Trade Job: General Sales Manager, South Yorkshire

£55k-£60k OTE, 5.5 Days per week on rota.

Our client a well-established motor trade main car dealership in the South Yorkshire area is currently looking to recruit an experienced Automotive General Sales Manager.

The successful candidate should have previous experience in a sales management role within a Main Dealership within the automotive industry preferably within a General Manager position.

Your duties will include: -
* Being responsible for training and motivating a team of experienced new and used car sales executives
* Devising a marketing plan and setting sales targets
* Monitoring and encouraging the team
* Compiling and analysing sales figures, csi scores and KPI's
* Monitoring Showroom Activity
* Preparing Sales Figures as part of the Sales process for the Executives to present to customers
* Valuing and underwriting used car stock
* Ordering New Cars

You must be able to demonstrate strong control with the sales process and stock. You must also be able to motivate, have an outstanding sales record and be highly organised.

A strong used car background would be extremely advantageous however main car dealership sales management experience is essential.
