By your teacher, welfare worker, religious or sports club leader or another adult entrusted to work with, and care for you.

If so I would really like to hear about your experience, in confidence, for my PhD project at Brunel University. There will be no need to meet face to face. Just one telephone call is all that is needed, and the information provided would be used anonymously (including all names and places).

If you have been through this experience I hope that you can help - your contribution will make a difference, no matter how much or little you feel able to say. I really believe that we can learn best about what happens, how it feels, and the effect it can have from the perspective of those individuals who have actually experienced this. And crucially, fellow sufferers will be able to learn that they are not alone.
