Our client based in Chesterfield is seeking a credit controller to cover a period of maternity leave which will be at least 12 months.
You will be expected to:-
- Manage debt-related issues within a portfolio of customer accounts, particularly credit checks and determining credit limits
- Work closely with other departments within the Company to proactively manage and resolve debt-related issues
Communicating with customers, both verbal and written to resolve account queries and debt issues, visiting the customer as appropriate
Prepare MI reports, as requested
Make decisions on releasing orders for delivery, payment plans, litigation, credit checks and credit limits

You must have :-
- Experience of working in a credit control environment
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with both internal and external customers
Experience of working within a team to ensure the achievement of individual, department and Company objectives
Be computer literate
Be able to plan and prioritise daily activities
Be able to identify and streamline processes and procedures to ensure the on-going development of the department
