Our client is currently looking for a hard working well motivated QSW to join their ever developing CREST Team (community, response, engagement, support, transition)

You will be working in a multi – disciplinary community based service with an emphasis on assertive outreach and intensive support to service users who are difficult to engage with. Our clients are currently seeking a qualified social worker with experience within mental health and a keen interest to work with people who have enduring mental health problems who are difficult to engage with.

As an approved social worker, you will work under an assertive outreach model and be responsible for care coordinating with a number of individuals. You will be expected to offer a range of flexible psychological interventions to address the physical, social and psychological needs of our service users. You will need a professional qualification in Social Work which could include a DipSW, CQSW, CSS, Masters and or BA Honours and be committed to providing a high quality service to both users and their carers. It is essential that you have a full driving licence.

An enhanced Criminal Bureau Disclosure will be required as well as registration with the General Social Care Council


This is initially a 32 Week contract position which is available to start straight away, but there is possibility for extension and even permanence depending on progress of the employee. The pay rate has been set at £19.50 per hour, not including the various expenses.
