Sheffield Young Carers Project
Fundraising Officer – 14 - 17.5 hours per week

Salary £20,000 - £24,000 (Pro Rata)

The Sheffield Young Carers Project is a charity, which primarily supports children and young people between the ages 8 to 21 years, taking on a caring responsibility for an adult with a disability, severe illness, mental health problems or issues with substance misuse.

We are looking for a dynamic and committed individual who will lead the development of a diverse range of fundraising for the project. Who will work closely with the project manager and take responsibility for a rolling programme of applications to trusts, foundations and other grant makers, including contracts with a young carers remit. Ideally, who will have experience of events management and promotion. We are seeking an organised and self-motivated individual who will be an excellent communicator with exceptional inter-personal skills. A flair for writing, attention to detail and first class communication skills are a must. Experience of the charitable sector fundraising would be considered an advantage.
