Hello, I am a 3rd BA archaeology student attending the University of Sheffield and in need of work, preferably temporary work with moderately flexible hours. At the moment I only have 4 hour of lectures per week, beginning at 9am on Monday and ending at 1pm the same day, although after Christmas this will change to 2 hours of lectures Monday morning and another 2 hours on Tuesday morning. The advantage of 4 hours of lectures a week is that, although working on both essays and my dissertation, I have a very flexible schedule and a lot of spare time, although we are advised to work no more than 12-16 hours a week in paid work.
Regarding previous work I worked at a cleaner for four years and a kitchen assistant in the same establishment, a nursing home, in North Yorkshire, which I still go back to every-so-often to work and also to attend in-house training. As such, I am looking more for cleaning jobs but I am a quick learner and would be happy working behind a till, stacking shelves and other such jobs.
If you would like any more information I will happily send off a copy of my CV if required.
Thank you very much and hope to hear from you soon.
