There has never been a better time to convert your wealth of experience into a qualification that brings you career and employability benefits.
If you posess people skills, can handle paperwork and basic report-writing, and you want to pass on your work experience and expertise, perhaps you should consider becoming an NVQ Assessor? To be an NVQ Assessor you need two main things:
- the A1 qualification (Assess Candidates Using a Range of Methods) - that's what we do to get you qualified quickly.... and,
- suitable experience to assess the NVQ titles and levels in your work area (experience levels and/or qualifications for Assessors are different for each NVQ and are defined in the Standards).
Note: to operate as an NVQ Assessor you will need to be taken on, and operate through, an Approved NVQ Centre. Check out Google or recruitment agencies for 'NVQ Assessor Vacancies + your work area' - there are part-time and full-time NVQ Assessor opportunities.
If you take one of our Fast-Track A1 courses you could be qualified in a very short time to start assessing. See www.assessortrainingdirect.co.uk for FAQs about becoming an NVQ Assessor, and course details. Then call ASSESSOR TRAINING DIRECT on 0161 882 0011 or 07980 709139 for further details.
Funding:
The only funding support available at this time for the A1 course is if you are under notice of redundancy or have been made redundant in the last 13 weeks... if this is you, you may be eligible for Government funding to support you to do this course. If this is you then go to:
http://search2.openobjects.com/kbroker/dwp/jobcentreplus/search/search.jsp
...... type in 'REDUNDANCY SUPPORT' and then contact your regional Rapid Response office saying that you want to do a Fast-Track A1 Assessor course.
