Hi all,

I have recently moved to sheffield to live with my girlfriend. I plan on proposing soon, however first i need to buy the ring and I have no idea where to go

Does anyone know any good jellewers i can go to to get the ring in or around sheffield? I know the relatively obvious ones in sheffield city centre e.g H Samual. I have a car so can drive to local areas. I have a budget of around £500.

Also when buying a ring do I need to watch out for anything? will the shops try and rip me off? Is the rpice on the ring the final price or is it like buying a car where they expect you to knock them down a bit?

Any advice would be much appreciated.
