Hi,

I'm about to move into a newly decorated 2-bed house on Ibbotson Road in Walkley. The house is 10 minutes away from the shops around Hillsborough Barracks, and the local tram/bus stops.

The room available is the double front bedroom. It's a very quiet street, so there won't be any noise issues.

I'm a 31-year old, male library assistant, but - outside of work - I play bass in a couple of local bands. Music-wise, I like to listen to the Fall, REM, the Smiths.

I love films and own a cabinet full of DVDs. Directors I like include Stanley Kubrick, Akira Kurosawa, Michael Powell and David Cronenberg.

Other interests/passtimes include reading, swimming, photography and drawing (am working on a children's picture book).

I'm trying to improve my cooking skills at the moment, so I'm spending a lot of time in the kitchen.

It'd be nice to find a housemate with interests common to mine, as it'd be preferable to have someone to talk to at home rather than someone just to split the bills with.

I'd be happy to share with either a male or female housemate - though I'd really rather not have a smoker.
