fun funk bands wanted

Hey there, am looking to put on some funk bands in my bar in sheffield. Not willing to spend much money unless the band proves worth it. If it is initially succesful would be interested in a monthly gig. Am looking for something that is simply fun for saturday nights, weather it be original material or covers, or even better a slight mixture.
