Civil/Structural Engineer

Salary: Dependent on qualifications and experience
Position: Permanent
Location: Nottingham

Our Client is a small, long-established Civil and Structural Engineering consultancy in Nottinghamshire that seeks a near chartered or recently chartered structural engineer for a permanent post to work on a wide variety of small to medium sized projects

You must have a relevant qualification at degree level and a proven track record of design experience developing effective solutions to engineering requirements in both the design and build phases. Able to use standard building materials to British Standards - steel, timber, masonry, reinforced concrete.

The job will involve carrying out all setting out duties, supervising all of the site activities and record all relevant details of the construction process. Involves all areas of Site Engineering whilst liasing with the site manager.

You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills to work closely with colleagues and customers. Experience in project management methodologies and tools would be an advantage with working knowledge of AutoCAD and Masterseries.
