I am selling my Marshall VBA400 bass guitar amplifier head. It is a 400w all-valve amp (so yes, it is loud!), which runs at 4 ohms, or 2 ohms with a second cab connected.

It is in tip-top condition. The fitted full flightcase I am selling with it has housed the amp for all of its life - it even sits in the bottom tray while I am using it at practices etc. There is no damage to the tolex, and the only signs of use are the dust marks on the front (caused by the cooling fan - can almost certainly be vaccuumed off if this is a problem). I treat my amps well - this amp has had a good life, at relatively low volumes and with a proper on/off procedure for valve amps.

It is plenty loud - I would go so far as to say monstrously so. No problem keeping up against your loud band!

The flightcase itself is also in good condition. It has been used, but not abused. I will not sell the amp without the case, or vice versa.

I would like £600 for this head. I am selling it so that I can afford a smaller amp, ironically!
